Mèkkerstee Fenugreek is an organic goat's cheese that has a slightly nutty flavor due to the addition of fenugreek seeds. This goat cheese has been ripening in our warehouse for 8 weeks to achieve this sublime taste. Highly recommended for your cheese plate!

De Mèkkerstee is a family business and has existed since 2001. Piet den Hertog then started a care farm with 75 goats, a small stable and a cheese factory for making goat cheese. There is now a large stable with approximately 650 goats and a professional and extensive cheese factory with a large production area and machines. There are approximately 65 employees who provide daytime activities in the restaurant, stable and cheese factory.

The goats receive the best care. They are provided with high-quality, organic food every day and they are literally pampered. This results in approximately 3 liters of delicious organic fresh milk per goat per day. Goat cheese is made from this milk. The Mekkerstee goat cheese is of very high quality. This is made according to our own recipe and is therefore unique in its kind. This has resulted in several awards, both national and international!
