    Leicoma is a very unique, sustainable and traditional brand of pork from East Germany. Leicoma stands for Leipzig, Coppenburg and Magdeburg. The pig breed was virtually extinct until Wouter Uwland and Caroliene Nieuwenhuizen saw opportunities to take over the last pig farm with Leicoma pigs in 2012.

    Leicoma meat products have a unique taste. The meat is fuller and generally slightly fattier, resulting in the products having more flavor. Besides the fact that the meat is tastier, it is also sustainably produced:

    • Teeth remain in their natural state.
    • Tails are not docked.
    • Antibiotics are not used.
    • The living space per pig is considerably more than elsewhere.
